Zdeněk Chaloupka

Zdeněk Chaloupka graduated from the Faculty of Social Science, Charles University, with a degree in politology and international relations. Afterwards he enrolled at the Film School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU). He came up with the idea of the web project about the Ukrainian war while working for Adra humanitarian organization in Mariupol. He would come back to the region repeatedly, however, in The Forgotten War project, footage from a small town of Avdееvka that lies within view of the front line became central. The project was his graduation project at the Film School.

Zuzana Tichá

Zuzana Tichá graduated from the Production Department of the Film School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU). During her studies, she focused mostly on documentaries, particularly on possibilities of non-linear documentary formats. In early 2017 together with Zdeněk Chaloupka, PINK company and the Film School, she started working on a web documentary The Forgotten War. She has been responsible for the producer’s concept and combining of the “classical” documentary production and innovative possibilities of narration.
